Love is in the air!

..Hello Lovely Fans and Friends!

Love is in the air; can you smell it? We can…or maybe it’s the traditional Valentine’s Day cookies we are making today….hmmmm….

We hope you all are having a good winter (we’re also hoping winter’s almost OVER)! Any plans for V-Day? We always make tons and TONS of cookies (a secret, family recipe) and take them to people all over town! It’s fun to see their faces light up when we walk in with a dozen, deliciously frosted sugar cookies for them! If you were here, we’d give you some too!

There’s lots of exciting things up in the air right now, as you might have seen in our status updates. The most exciting of which we can’t really share, but we will keep you all posted if any wonderful news comes our way.

In the meantime, we’re going to keep on truckin’ (as usual)! We’re working on music videos for “One Day” and “Idiot” – they should be really cool! So, hopefully, we’ll have those up and on Youtube and on here for your viewing pleasure really soon.

Whitney is home in Branson now after about a month and a half, and she’s doing great! Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers; we all greatly appreciate them!

We’re working on a song that we hope we will be able to pitch to the Twilight people for the 4th (5th???) movie(s); we’re really in love with it, so, we hope they’ll like it too!

To any of you listening to us on www.ourstage.com – THANK YOU! We are currently #7 on the Rock chart with “Okay You Got Me”! We are sooooo stoked, and it’s all thanks to you guys for going and listening and voting! We’re so grateful; so, again, THANKS!

Lastly, we’re about 5 songs in on our new concept album (album #2). We ADORE this idea we have; and we can’t wait to make it a reality!

Things are moving forward for us; so far, 2010 has proven to be an amazing year – we hope the same for all of you!

Something I (Mandie) want to share with all of you today:

I was getting kind of down about how things were progressing (or not progressing) for the band and trying to move forward on a great new album without any possible prospects…

I was talking to our mom, and I said, “It feels like we’ve been treading water for so long. I suppose it’s time to either swim for shore or let go and just drown.”

And she replied, “No, neither. Now’s the time to believe and get up and walk on water!”

How true! Getting where you’re going is mostly perseverance; to any of you feeling down about whatever you may be going through, I just want to say that I hear you, I see you, I feel you! We are right there with you, and we’re believing for miracles and in dreams that everything wonderful will come your way!

Keep checking in on us; we’ve got some fun things coming up that you WON’T want to miss!

We LOVE You All!
