Well, everyone, it’s been a crazy past couple of days for us here. Whitney, our youngest sister and the band’s keyboardist/vocalist, was hospitalized early yesterday morning after having several seizures in a row.
Whitney has an AVM (arterial veinous malformation) in her brain that causes too much blood flow to her brain and therefore seizures. While she had experienced these things in the past, they had never been this bad. I’m not going to lie, it wasn’t a good situation. But, we had a lot of people praying with us and believing for her total healing and wellness; and I’m happy to say that she is doing MUCH better today! Thank God!
Yesterday, she couldn’t remember what had happened or who her visiters were or move her left side of her body; but today, she remembers everything and everyone, can move everything, and is looking and feeling much better – the IV is gone and so is the oxygen tubes – God is so good!
We just wanted to update everyone straight up; so, there were no rumors or weird confusions. I know Whitney would want people to know what was going on.
The sad news is that she will NOT be joining Michaela and myself at our CD release party at the Branson Landing Hot Topic tomorrow. But Michaela and I will still be there from 6:30-9 p.m. to hang out with you all.
We’ll have CD’s for sale, along with posters, stickers, and a limited run of ladies’ t-shirts as well. Also, the CD will be played the whole night. So, come out and say hello – we could really use some smiling faces right now, and would LOVE LOVE LOVE to see you all there!
